New

SysTrack AI

Part of the SysTrack Intelligence Package, SysTrack AI enables AI-powered conversational IT support across multiple channels:

  • Self-service workflows and multimodal experiences for end users: SysTrack AI powers agents that interact with employees using natural language to diagnose and resolve IT issues. Available as an Microsoft Teams app and as the SysTrack AI Voice service accessible via a dedicated phone number, both agents use real-time and historical system data to provide guidance and initiate escalations to ServiceNow.
  • Integration patterns: Customers and partners can integrate SysTrack AI via API, MCP, or A2A for use within their own agent or workflow environments.
  • SysTrack Pulse for IT Helpdesks: Streamlines and automates the troubleshooting process for IT help desk agents by diagnosing issues, providing guidance, and enabling escalation.

Current SIP customers should reach out to their Lakeside representative to learn more about getting started with SysTrack AI.

SysTrack Pulse

Pulse is a new browser extension by Lakeside Software available in the Chrome Web Store. It provides help desk agents with ITSM-agnostic troubleshooting and automation capabilities. Pulse is currently available for cloud customers only. It is offered at no additional charge, but the SysTrack AI engine requires the SysTrack Intelligence Package.

For more details on Pulse, see the separate Pulse Release Notes and SysTrack Pulse Guide.

Pulse-Triggered Automations in History

Automation History in Assist and Resolve now includes new values in the “Run from” column to identify automations initiated from SysTrack Pulse. These include automations selected manually from Tools and tied to a sensor in Detected Issues.

NOTE: On agents prior to version 11.6, Pulse-triggered automations will display as run from unknown.

Accessibility Enhancements in Dashboards

To meet WCAG 2.1.1 and 4.1.2 compliance, accessibility improvements have been made to ensure users with vision impairments can navigate and interact with UI elements. In Dashboards, the open dashboard preview buttons and expand/collapse controls for By Category and By Persona are keyboard accessible, supporting tab navigation and activation via Enter or Space keys. These elements now also include accessible roles and expand/collapse states for screen reader compatibility.

Automations Now Support Categories

“Category” can now be added to the metadata of automations. Automations in Resolve and Assist are now sorted into categories.

Overall GPU Utilization Now Collected

The agent now collects generic GPU utilization. For both integrated (int) and dedicated (ext) GPUs, the following metrics are now collected:

  • Windows: Memory Utilization
  • Linux: GPU and Memory Utilization

The GPU perspective will now show for all systems in Resolve, and include data for Linux and macOS. Windows data will be shown in a follow up release.

There is no change to the existing Nvidia dedicated collection, or macOS.

Per Core CPU data in Resolve

Resolve has a new data set CPU Cores to show per core CPU utilization; both user and privileged use.

Regional Currency and Power Cost Settings

A new Unit Settings pane in Configure > Administration allows SysTrack administrators to customize power-related cost calculations using regional currency and real-world energy rates. Currency values dynamically update across the UI, replacing the previous hardcoded dollar symbol. Supported currencies include: GBP (£), USD ($, default), EUR (€), CNY (¥), JPY (¥), INR (₹), AUD ($), CAD ($), CHF (Fr.), TRY (₺), SEK (kr), DKK (kr).

Fixed

  • Latency values for web applications now display accurately, avoiding unusually high readings. (12587)
  • SysTrack Agent now limits event subscriptions to specific Windows event IDs provided by the RulesEngine, reducing CPU and I/O usage when systems are disconnected from the network. The agent does not currently support the wildcard character “*” in event lists from Event Editor in Configure. Wildcard support will be added in future releases. (12972)
  • SysTrack now correctly reports WLAN signal quality when the card’s GUID in the Windows registry does not match the GUID returned by WlanEnumInterfaces, as observed with Intel BE20x series wireless cards. (13316)
  • SysTrack Agent now restarts after enabling or disabling the Event Trace thread. (13649)
  • The Healthy Working dashboard in the Employee Wellbeing DEX Pack now correctly calculates user activity durations when interpreting logon and screen lock/unlock events. (13759)
  • Comparative Analytics in Resolve now includes SSDs in capacity and storage calculations. (13747)
  • SysTrack Agent now generates type 1 and type 2 records for all data keys collected within the past 10 minutes and 2 hours, respectively. (13821)
  • It is now possible to send alerts, surveys, engagements, automations, and collection extensions to a larger number of systems at once. (13930)
  • SysTrack Agent no longer encounters potential crashes during Citrix ICA data collection due to a divide-by-zero error. (14003)
  • SysTrack now reports disk free space on MacOS devices more accurately using logic aligned with MacOS reporting standards. (14092)
  • macOS user data in Persona Visualizer now displays correctly when JAMF integration is enabled. (14108)
  • SysTrack Agent no longer stops unexpectedly during installation when the WebApps URL is null in the configuration. (14162)
  • The agent no longer causes excessive CPU usage on virtual endpoints during software package inventory collection when registry access delays occur. (14250)
  • System Views now validate SQL column names against the 32-character limit during the Test SQL step. (14266)
  • SysTrack now correctly collects and displays user-defined device names for iOS systems. (14382)
  • The SASECURITY_PRODUCTS table now includes the INST_GUID column as part of the unique inventory record definition to prevent overwriting rows when multiple instances of the same product are detected. (14425)
  • The Automation Executions dashboard now correctly aligns stacked area graph lines with data points that lack adjacent date values. (14460)
  • SysTrack now correctly handles AD group membership during system searches in Resolve when users belong to groups without associated privilege sets. (14508)
  • Imported groups now appear in Resolve and Prevent without delay. (14580)
  • Fixed a vulnerability in the LsiAgent.exe loopback component of the SysTrack agent that could lead to application crashes when processing malformed UDP packets.
  • Fixed a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability where an unprivileged user could exploit a race condition to execute code with SYSTEM-level privileges.

Changed

Improved Error Handling for Unauthorized System Access in Resolve

When users drill down to a system in Resolve that they do not have access to, a new error modal now appears to clarify that the issue is related to role-based access control, not a product error.

Updated Lakeside Logo

The Lakeside logo was updated for SysTrack in several areas, including the iOS App Store and the SysTrack landing page on Android and iOS devices.

Android App Privacy and Compatibility Updates

The SysTrack Android app no longer requests the READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO permissions, improving user privacy and aligning with updated Android platform requirements. The app has also been updated to target Android 15 (API level 35) or higher, ensuring compatibility with the latest OS features and security standards.

Automatic Payload Chunking for Commands in Tools

When a command is sent to a large number of systems using Tools in Prevent, it is now automatically split into smaller chunks and processed in parallel to avoid 403 errors caused by Application Gateway v2 Web Application Firewall (WAF) limits.

Optimized Application Latency Dataset

Application Latency data in Visualizer is only calculated for subnets containing more than 5 systems. This change is aimed at improving scalability and performance within the Application Latency section.

Increased NLQ UI Polling Timeout

The polling timeout for system count updates in the NLQ interface has been tripled for all types of Agent Queries. This change improves the reliability of system count updates for large-scale environments, where shorter polling intervals previously might have caused inconsistent query results.
